Elevate™ Commercial Roofing Systems announced the appointment of Kim Eckerman as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Americas. With more than 17 years since she first joined the building products and roofing industry, Eckerman brings a wealth of experience in marketing, communications, and leadership. Her role will be pivotal in continuing to strengthen the Elevate brand with positioning for the broader roofing systems and lining business unit as a roofing industry leader.
Eckerman will lead marketing initiatives across the roofing systems and lining business, including Elevate, GenFlex™, and Gentite®, showcasing how the proven, expansive portfolio of trusted commercial roofing solutions performs reliably and helps protect communities. Collaborating closely with the Americas Sales teams, Eckerman will ensure that Elevate’s brand promise, Nobody Covers You Better™, is at the core of every customer interaction. Before joining Elevate, Eckerman served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at TAMKO® Building Products, where she led teams that helped to develop highly successful new product lines and delivered innovative and award-winning marketing campaigns.

Prior to entering the building products and roofing industry, Eckerman worked in journalism as a broadcast news anchor and reporter. She also taught collegiate communications courses at Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) in Southwest Missouri. Eckerman earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from MSSU and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in applied communications from Missouri State University in Springfield. She is also certified in Artificial Intelligence Marketing through the University of Virginia Darden School Foundation. Eckerman is actively involved with National Women in Roofing and was recently honored with its Diamond MVP Award for 2024.
